Bus DriverTraining Procedures
1. Complete an application.
2. Obtain permission from the Superintendent to attend Pre-Service Classes. (15 hours)
3. After completion of the Pre-Service Classes, pick up a permit pack from the License Bureau.
4. After you obtain your CDL from the License Bureau you will need to contact the Superintendent to set up training with the On-Bus-Instructor. (12 hours)
5. Take the road test in Bowling Green or Findlay.
6. Pass the physical exam. (Physical form can be obtained in Superintendent's Office.)
7. Send for Driver's abstract.
Starting route pay: $17.62 per hour - Extra Trips: $10.15 per hour
(Please remember to keep all expense receipts and you will be reimbursed the amount allocated by the Master Contract.)
