Update Forms For The 2022-23 School Year
Form updates for the 2022-23 school year are now open. Please make sure to complete all required forms prior to the first day of School. Fall sport athletes, all athletic forms need completed prior to the first day of practice.
Please read the attached letter regarding updated Covid-19 quarantine protocols for students identified as school-related close contacts. This letter is the result of a joint agreement between the Putnam County Health Department and Putnam County Schools.
This guidance will allow students identified as school-related close contacts to now have the option to keep attending school during their "quarantine" period provided they properly wear face covering.
These changes in quarantine protocol DO NOT apply to non-school related incidents of Covid-19 (household, general public, etc.) as students identified as close contacts in those circumstances will be instructed to quarantine at home as per usual. Nor does it apply to participation in extracurricular activities, as you will read in the letter. I hope these changes do not cause any confusion and we will do our utmost to handle each situation properly and communicate as effectively with you as possible.

To all district parents:
As we hit the halfway point of the first semester of the school year, I would like to touch base with all of you regarding the latest COVID numbers for the district. I also want to remind everyone of the district’s COVID protocols, and our contact tracing procedures. As was stated in the joint letter sent out by all of the county school districts in August, we ask that you please understand that the protocols and procedures described are subject to change. If the last 18 months have taught us anything, it is that the situation we are in can change rapidly, and we need to be ready to adjust as the circumstances change. If you go to the district website, those protocols and procedures are listed for you to review. http://www.ottawaglandorf.org/index.php/8-district/120-2021-2022-back-to-school-covid-protocols
